The Good Shepherd Foundation Water Project pdf

The Good Shepherd Foundation was founded by Michele Sidney, RN, a Haitian American who was involved with providing medical care immediately following the 2010 earthquake. This led to the operation of regular clinics to serve the people in 13 communities around Chevrau du Lombarde Haiti.

Michele’s vision was to form an organization to provide people suffering from preventable and treatable medical conditions with humanitarian assistance programs that integrate acute and chronic basic medical services, and disease prevention through proactive medical care, sanitation, clean water, and health education to improve overall physical well being and environmental conditions and promote a stable resilient community structure. The attached PDF offers information about the organization and ongoing water projects they have implemented into the community.  Download the full story (PDF) by clicking on the PDF above.
